Diamond’s love for performing began early. As a child in elementary school, she would eagerly participate in classroom plays. One of her first roles was playing the black cat in a Halloween play, where she confidently “meowed” her way onto the stage in front of proud parents. That early experience in performing arts sparked a passion that would follow her throughout her life.
Her fascination with modeling was also nurtured during those formative years. Watching America’s Next Top Model with her aunt, Diamond was inspired by the models strutting the runway, and she practiced her walk, captivated by the artistry of modeling.
“I would practice my walk and smize every day,” Diamond fondly recalls. Those early moments of playfulness would later become the foundation of her love for the fashion industry.
Meeting a Top Model
One of the pivotal moments in Diamond’s modeling journey was meeting America’s Next Top Model contestant Phil Sullivan at a VIP Ignite photoshoot in Orlando. She was not only thrilled to meet someone she had watched on TV, but Phil also provided her with hands-on coaching during the shoot.
“He showed me how to adjust myself to get the best photo, and it was incredible,” says Diamond. Meeting someone she admired since childhood and receiving guidance from him was a significant moment that reinforced her passion for modeling.
Embracing Confidence and Growth
Over the years, Diamond has struggled with self-image issues, like many others. However, working with VIP Ignite has allowed her to see herself in a new light. Her confidence has blossomed, and she now looks at her photos with pride and admiration.
“I used to struggle with self-image, but now, when I see my photos, I feel beautiful,” she says. This transformation has not only been external but internal as well. She shares how modeling helps her step outside herself, allowing her to become the confident person she’s always wanted to be.
Balancing Masculine and Feminine Energy in Modeling
One of the most interesting insights Diamond shared during the podcast was about the balance of masculine and feminine energy in modeling. She explained that masculine energy is often about presence—taking up space and showing strength—while feminine energy is more about dynamic posing, movement, and creating elongated lines.
“Masculine energy brings strength, while feminine energy creates movement and elongation. The perfect pose is a balance of both,” Diamond explains.
This balance has helped her elevate her modeling, allowing her to craft images that resonate with beauty, power, and grace.
