Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Michael’s story is rooted in humility. His journey began with a small pizza shop in North Jersey, where he learned the values of hard work, resilience, and service. But his foundation goes even deeper. As a child, he served as an altar boy in a historic Russian Orthodox church in Brooklyn. Over the years, Michael’s influence has grown tremendously. His leadership has helped generate over $1 billion in revenue through live and virtual events that have launched countless careers.

He’s also made his mark in the world of theater, producing stories that matter. To date, he’s earned 36 industry awards, including the prestigious Tony Award for Best Play in 2013.

Michael is also the best-selling author of Finding Fame, a guide that helps aspiring talent break into the entertainment industry with strategy, confidence, and integrity. His work empowers others not just to dream big— but to act boldly.

Yet, his most profound impact may be his work offstage. In partnership with Operation Underground Railroad, Michael helped rescue more than 3,500 children from sex trafficking.

Today, he’s leading a mission to raise $1 million to build schools in Kenya, expanding access to education and creating new futures for children who need it most.

Michael often points to his mother as his greatest inspiration. “Watching my mom work so hard growing up… it taught me everything,” he shares. “Her strength, her sacrifice—that’s where my work ethic comes from. I owe her more than I could ever say.”
