When Jesse first started his career, he was only interested in modeling because it came naturally to him.

Because of his diversity and his looks, he was quickly a favorite of photographers in his home state of Florida.

In 2018, he moved to New York to follow modeling opportunities and learned that he could also act.

Due to circumstances out of his control, he had to move back home to Florida.

Jesse knew that he had to take a step so that he could take his career to the next level…when he came upon an ad for VIP Ignite.

He attended a live webinar, traveled to Los Angeles for a live interactive experience then to New York City where he learned about Voice Acting.

In Jesse’s words…you have to take the first step toward opportunity–it’s not going to come to you.

You telling me a little bit about yourself. My Name is Jesse Tyler, romantic, and a little bit about myself is I grew up in Kissimmee, Florida. I grew up at the boys and girls club. So I was always involved with a lot of activities. And that’s basically how I grew up hip hop dancing as well. I got into photography a little after high school.

I had a lot of friends that got into photography. And from there, my style being so diverse, I shot with a lot of, of them. And when they posted it on social media, local photographers started to hit me up. And I realized at that moment that this is something that I can do for sure. And then I moved to New York,

2018 for opportunities. And I actually got into acting, which I never would have thought I would’ve did acting. I just went straight for modeling and it just opened my eyes up to a whole new world. And now being here at this New York event, it opened up my eyes to voiceovers. What made you decide to work with Alicia and VIP ignite? What made me decide to work with Alicia?

VIP ignite is the, all of her success stories and all of her connections that she has. I know that you need a lot of connections and stuff to get by in this industry, for sure. What has been the biggest obstacle that VIP ignite has helped you overcome? The biggest obstacle that VIP ignite has helped me overcome would probably be the closure that I basically really need and could still use.

And if someone were on the fence about coming to an event here with us, what would you tell them? If someone was on the fence about coming to one of these events? I would tell them that you need to take that first step. It’s not going to come to you. So you have to go to it.
