Times are tough and we are all dealing with our own personal struggles. This is something Kiran is more than aware of, since she had her own struggle with depression last year. 😔💔

She wants to share her story because someone at our Virtual Summit instructed the attendees to be better people than they were last year. For Kiran, that means attending the Summit to hear from people who are helping her become a person who can change the world! 😤

She also wants to share the two biggest lessons she learned by attending the VIP Ignite Virtual Summit: 😁

1. Know your worth. When we struggle, we often forget our worth and this allows people to take advantage of you and your craft. 🎭🎨

2. Never EVER forget to show kindness. You never know how much a person is struggling. A little kindness can go a long way. 🌼

The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who end up doing it almost a year ago. Someone said that to me and my mom had just given me this pen and then everything kind of felt like it was going downhill. I went into a pitfall of depression. I did a lot of things that I'm not going to say in video that I'm not proud of.

I struggled a lot. I didn't tell people how much I was truly struggling. Although they did get bits and pieces. I pushed a lot of people away. Um, a lot of my friends are just no longer my friends, some of them still stuck by me. Not a lot of people checked in on me. Um, and that's okay. There were very few people who heard me in my silence and was just about ready to give up at the stream at his passion.

And I was ready to give up. And this video is not supposed to be about my struggle necessarily because I could tell you a lot, but it's not about that. And I'm sorry that I'm not listening to the rules. Deneen Alyssa, all of you, Ryan. This is about sharing my parts of my story because it brought me to today where someone in the summit was in this summit.

And, uh, this really influential person said be better than the person you were last year. So try my best to be a good person last year. And that didn't go really well. That's what I'm thinking in my head. I tried my best, but, uh, you know, it just didn't feel like enough. I use this pen throughout the entire year, one of the worst years, and I wrote everything I wanted to do. I was like, you know, maybe if I make it through, if I keep pushing this pen will get me there. That's what I kept thinking. My mom gave it to me and I wanted to change the world. I was like, I'm going to change the world.

I remember sitting there and my friends, a dingy little homeys, I was sitting in this dingy little bed and I was like, you guys, I'm going to change the world. I'm going to do it. And now I'm talking to people who are helping me literally do that. Literally. I don't know how I got here, but I'm here doing these people are extraordinary.

So, um, yeah, if you are struggling right now, which I'm assuming you probably are because a pandemic spread a little kindness. You don't know how much somebody is struggling. And the two biggest things I learned today, my biggest lessons of this day know your worth. Never, ever forget to show kindness.
